- Vendor: FIS
- Product: Agentic Insights Suite for the office of the CFO
- Key date: Announced 12 October 2026
- Status: Launched. No pricing, regional availability or general availability date given
What it does
- Scores accounts in real time for credit risk, business health and ESG, and recommends next actions.
- Combines ERP, treasury and CRM data with external credit and public data into one reconciled source.
- Answers questions in plain language, with results in Power BI dashboards.
- Works as an intelligence layer over FIS receivables products (GETPAID, BillerIQ) and treasury products (Integrity, Quantum).
- FIS says it starts with self-serve set-up and deploys in weeks rather than months.
The forecasting module
- Multi-horizon cash flow forecasts using machine learning and simulations of many possible outcomes.
- Users can test how delayed inflows or faster outflows would affect liquidity.
- Planned later: payment anomaly detection and dispute forecasting.
The context
- FIS cites Deloitte’s Finance Trends 2026 survey: 46% of global finance leaders named working capital optimisation as a top area for agentic AI, but only 14% had fully integrated AI agents into finance.
- These figures are quoted by the vendor.
What to do now
- Measure your current forecast accuracy by horizon before you test any AI forecast.
- Run any new tool in parallel with your existing forecast for at least three months.
- Agree who approves AI-recommended collection actions, and record each decision.
- Clean customer master data and bank mappings first.
Our take
Scenario-based cash forecasting is a real step up from a single spreadsheet number. But an AI forecast is a tool for the treasurer, not a replacement. Prove accuracy on your own history, and keep a person accountable for the liquidity call.
